  Aku merasa seperti seorang gadis tua. Seorang gadis berumur 29 tahun yang tidak mengerti apa pun tentang dirinya yang tidak tahu apa yang diinginkannya dalam hidup ini. Aku sebuah bola besar yang menggelinding kebingungan. * Buku ini aku dapat dari giveaway  yang penulisnya buat di twitter tahun 2019. Jujur (dan sorry) aku sebenarnya tidak pernah tahu Nuril Basri. Memang pengetahuanku akan penulis juga kurang, karena buatku membaca seringnya hanya tentang cerita dan isinya. Jadi, seharusnya sih review ini terlihat cukup jujur. Pada cover buku ini tercantum kutipan menarik dari British Council " One of five Indonesian authors to read now " yang agak meningkatkan ekspektasiku. Ditambah lagi, tercantum juga bahwa beberapa karya dari penulis ini sudah diterjemahkan ke dalam Bahasa Malaysia dan Inggris, membuatku tambah penasaran. Di tahun 2019, setelah membaca halaman-halaman awal, aku merasa kurang motivasi untuk melanjutkan. Aku merasa seperti ada sesuatu yang mengganjal, tap...

Haunted

Maybe you don’t know, The feeling of rejection, The broken thoughts, The lack ability to defend yourself… will haunt you… Before the important meeting you have to attend or along with the documents you evaluate. Yes, need to take a deep breath to focus on. In the middle of your pilates class. So, you have to take a deeper breath or you’ll be black out. Between your favorite TS’s bridge songs you listen everyday. A deep breath again, cause it should cheer you up. In every steps you take from work to a place you called home. Another deep breath to keep your balance, so you don’t fall in crowd. Even after a main scene of horror movie you try to watch. Pause - a deep breath - play. In all activities you did to distract, they’re always there. They haunted you. They haunted me.

Mengurai pikiran

Hari ini, 10 Mei 2020, di rumah, ditengah pandemik covid-19 Selama dua bulan dirumah aja karena pandemik ini membuat aku lebih banyak berpikir, lebih banyak khawatir. Aku menemukan diri sendiri yang sudah hampir berumur 25 tahun ini masih banyak kekurangan yang tidak bisa ditoleransi lagi. Semakin insecure pada diri sendiri, secara fisik, sifat, bahkan sikap/attitude. Diumur setua ini, aku merasa sulit dalam mengambil keputusan. Bahkan, keputusan kecil seperti membeli barang di e-commerce pun mikirnya bisa berhari-hari. Seringnya juga malah gak jadi. Apalagi masalah jalan hidup. Pusingnya udah kayak mau sidang skripsi setiap hari. Rasanya takut. Takut memulai,  Takut dengan konsekuensi di depan, Takut menghadapi orang, Takut salah. Memang dari kecil sudah dikesankan bahwa "salah" itu gak boleh. Gak bisa ada kesalahan. Salah jawab saat ujian, belajar yang benar, jangan tolol. Itu yang selalu dipikiranku.
